The Plant-Based Food Ingredient of the Future

In 2018, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted hemp seed derivatives, including hulled hemp seed (hemp hearts), protein powder, and cold-pressed seed oil, Generally Recognized As Safe (“GRAS”) status. We have partnered with Life Giving Seeds, a hemp and flax seed processor based in Bismarck, ND to build a domestic supply chain for these highly nutritious plant-based ingredients. Together, International Hemp and Life Giving Seeds can bring to market millions of pounds of food-grade hemp grain ingredients using certified genetics for food manufacturers who are ready to utilize the plant-based ingredient of the future.
